Our country kennel is located on a private, wooded 40 acres in Thompson CT.  We have lots of trails for pleasure walks, a fenced in play yard as well as a 60x40 indoor play arena for your pets enjoyment.  Morning Star Farm Pet Resort offers a safe & friendly environment for your pet.  Leave knowing your pet will be well cared for in your absence.  Owners live on premises.  At your request, your dog can join in our daily play groups or get individual attention and exercise.

Each dog in our care receives clean & spacious indoor/outdoor accommodations. 

Comfy bedding, fresh clean water available at all times, breakfast & dinner on a quality diet, a bedtime snack and all the love & comfort needed for an enjoyable stay.  You may bring your pet's own food if you wish no extra charges.

We are happy to show you the facility anytime during our business hours.  Here are photos of the outdoor portion of the dog kennels, the fenced in dog yard is adjacent to the outdoor covered kennels as well as a photo of the inside sleeping area.

	We have a 2 day minimum for all boarding clients.  All pets are charged for the day of check-in and the day of check-out (a minimum of 2 days boarding). This is to cover the washing of beds, dishes and the disinfecting of kennel areas between pets.
	You may drop-off or pick-up anytime in our business hours.  There are no check-in or out times.
	A 50% deposit is required on pets boarding more than seven days.
	Proof of current immunization is required for all pets. Required vaccinations for dogs are Rabies, DHLPP, & Bordatella and for cats Rabies, and FRVCP.
	All pets are examined at the time of check-in for parasites.  If necessary, your pet will be given a flea & tick bath and/or application at drop-off and charges added to your bill.  Pricing will vary by weight and breed.
	Owners may bring food for their pet in a sealed plastic container with your pet's name on it.  No discount on the board rate applies.  We offer this to pets who may be finicky eaters or who have sensitive stomachs.  Please bring only enough for your pet's stay.  Individual meals in Ziploc bags are encouraged.
	All pets are charged for their full reservations, please confirm check-out day at check-in.
	We accept long term boarders and offer reduced rates for stays of 30 days or more.
